What is nrp?
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP®) is what American Heart Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics provide to teach resuscitation for newborns at the time of delivery. NRP is blended-learning which includes online testing, online simulations, and hands on skills practice.
How do I become a nrp provider or renew?
The NRP course is a blended learning course . You must 1 st register online (click the button above or below). Once you register, you have to purchase the online course from them.
- You will take two twenty-five question test.
- Once you pass those you can move on to the clin sims. You have take each one. It is not a pass or fail. They just have to be completed.
- Once the test and clin sims are done you can take the skills session with us. Please bring a copy of your completion certificate with you to your nrp class. The required online course is purchased directly from the neonatal resuscitation program a
- After the skills session you have to log back into the NRP site to complete a survey and get your card. We cannot issue your NRP card, it comes directly from them after I "pass" you in the system. They also require me to add a class and you to their website, you may get a separate e-mail from them confirming the class.
