Heartsaver classes are best for someone that is not in the healthcare field. The course is intended for teachers, parents, grandparents, babysitters, camp counselors, fitness coaches and anyone that would like to know how to perform cpr. The class can cover the following:
Adult CPR
Child CPR
Infant CPR
Adult , child, and infant AED use.
First Aid Skills
BLS is what most healthcare workers are required to have for employment The class covers basic CPR skills and AED use. AHA offers a BLS course for new students and renewal course for experienced students. All of our instructor led classes are primarily the standard BLS course, the renewal course is similar to the original and not much shorter. However if the students skills and knowledge allows for it, the instructor may use the renewal outline. If you additional questions please contact us.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is an advanced, that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology.
PALS is a classroom, video-based, Instructor-led course using a series of simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamics. The goal of the Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes.
