It is an alternative option to traditional in person classes. Instead of being in a class room for 6-12 hours, you will do the learning and test at home, then come practice your hands on skills in person. I don't offer a zoom option for this.
Both are great options depending on your needs. The 3rd party option is significantly less expensive, however can take longer to be sent to you. It's an accelerated class. I have had several new students take the course and do just fine. The skills session is the same for either online class and you get the same card issued by the AHA.
Yes, all of the classes I offer are AHA courses. All cards are issued by the American Heart Association. The Card is good for two years.
You can usually take multiple classes at the same time.

Yes. The online class cost goes to the AHA. I do add a small fee to the classes to cover administration fees. You can purchase the online classes from the AHA to avoid those fees.
You will need to check with your employer or school that is requiring you take it.
